Technology

The technology only kicks in when the engine starts and does not need to be operated by the driver.

The EcoTorque combustion begins the process of electronically controlled electrolysis, separating the hydrogen and oxygen molecules from the water, this gas is mixed into the engine's intake air.

Hydrogen takes on the role of an additive when added in small doses to the engine. This mixture helps to improve the burning of the fuel, making it faster and more complete, thus increasing the efficiency of the burn, increasing the performance of the engine and generating less environmental impact.

As a result of this process, less and less fuel is needed for more autonomy, making it possible to reduce the cost of diesel and to travel greater distances between fill-ups.
