Protium Dynamics is a pioneering company in hydrogen production and application technology to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and fossil fuel consumption.
The company was founded in 2015 in Maringá - PR with the vision of researching and developing hydrogen technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase energy efficiency, focused on the transition from the use of fossil fuels to cleaner fuels. In the beginning, LZ Energia (Protium Dynamics' first name) focused on the development of on-board electrolyzers for use in the road sector and relied on various subsidy and support mechanisms for the development of new products.
Between 2019 and 2021, LZ Energia began to take shape as a company, had its first green patent granted, completed several field tests validating the technology for the road sector, designed the EcoTorque product and began to design the development expansion plan for application in other sectors, such as naval, O&G, rail and industrial.

In 2022, the company began developing the product for application in large diesel engines in partnership with Ocyan S.A. and supported by Shell, maintaining the vision of expanding the application of Hydrogen to other sectors. In 2023, the brand underwent a rebranding, making the name Protium Dynamics official, established several commercial and development partnerships with technology institutions and began projects for the application of hydrogen in the industrial sector.
In 2024, Protium began structuring the company to meet industry demands. It now also provides components, isolated systems, complete hydrogen production plants and specialized engineering services.
